We are speaking to you because,

  • The Council is making changes to day activities

  • There will still be day centres

  • We want to make things better

  • So more people can have a say about their day

  • So your views are welcome and we want to hear from you

  • This will help us make Kingston a better place to live


Day Activities are things like:-

  • Having a job and getting paid

  • Volunteering (unpaid work)

  • Day centres and activities

  • Other things for people who are supported by Adult Social Care

  • Giving carers a break


This survey is for?

  • People who live in the Kingston Borough.

  • People who are older than 16 and are supported by Adult Social Care. These people may have

    • learning disabilities

    • Dementia

    • mental health issues

    • physical disabilities

    • Sight and hearing problems

    • Autism

    • be over the age of 65


What about carers?

This survey is for people using day services, so please can carers help people to do the survey.

We want to hear from carers too so we will keep talking to carers in focus groups.

What you write in the survey will not change the support you get.

We have asked people in the past what they think about day services. If you have given us your ideas in the past, we will use these details, but things have now changed due to Covid.

So we want to find out if people still want the same things.

The project will finish in April 2023.
