As a statesman, his contributions are numerous but what I will treasure most are the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and his work with the Worldwide Fund for Nature. As a person, it is evident that his support for his wife, the Queen, has been invaluable to her and thus to the nation and the Commonwealth. May he rest in peace.
