Man with mask on dropping off food

We may be socially distant but our communities in Kingston have never been closer as people pull together to help each other out.

We’ve seen huge acts of kindness across the borough; neighbours helping neighbours; people volunteering to deliver food parcels, and fantastic rainbows popping up to brighten up every window.

We want to know what you’ve been doing, or if you have a thank you story to tell. We want to capture all of your creativity and your kindness. We want to hear what you're doing and what others have done for you. We want to hear how you are making the best of being home. And we want to see the rainbows you’ve hung in your windows to say thank you to all the key workers that are helping keep Kingston moving.

Everyone is playing their part to make a difference.

If you have a story, an idea or a rainbow to share that could inspire others, or you have someone you would like to thank, please join in with #KinderKingston and share it with us.

How is your community pulling together to support one another?

Community spirit is shining across Kingston as people pull together and look out for each other. There are small acts of kindness everywhere, with people being good neighbours, flourishing new community initiatives and residents volunteering to do all they can to tackle the virus.

There are so many inspiring stories highlighting the part everyone can play to make a real difference. We want to capture stories from your community here.
