Kingston Council is developing a new Housing Strategy for the borough.
The council is committed to ensuring there is a range of affordable and accessible housing in safe communities for Kingston residents. We want to review the range of accommodation available across Kingston and understand where there are gaps in provision. We are also trying to understand the impact that COVID-19 has had on the Kingston Community, so our strategy is timely in its response to this emergency.
Our engagement aims to reach widely across the Kingston community and will ensure there is a focus on groups who are marginalised, so their views and voices are heard.
We are seeking views from across the community, to include partner agencies, the business community, service users and all interested parties. We want to hear from you what we should, as a community, be doing to support people to;
find a home
access affordable housing
live independently in their homes
ensure vulnerable and elderly residents are supported in their homes
live and work safely and to enjoy the amenities in their communities
We want to provide the opportunity that all views are heard and will try to ensure they are realistically reflected in our strategy and support the Council’s overall objectives.
Please take the survey below.
If you require this survey in a more accessible format, please contact john.evans@kingston.gov.uk or call 020 8547 5000.
