Looking after green spaces across Kingston’s housing estates

During the pandemic, going outside to enjoy open spaces for fresh air, to connect with nature and for exercise has been extremely important to our residents and we want to understand how we can help improve the green spaces on your estate.
Earlier this year, we asked residents to share their views on public parks and green spaces across the borough. Nearly 400 people responded highlighting how important these areas are to everyone and particularly, how much they valued the land and gardens outside their home.
In 2021, the council will be employing a new company to deliver high quality, cost effective grounds maintenance and tree preservation services across the borough. The land around your home will be included as part of this service.
We now want to understand more about how you feel about the maintenance of green spaces on your estate, what you like and what could be done differently. This is your opportunity to help us prioritise what matters most to you.
If you require any of these documents or the survey in a more accessible format, please contact involvedinhousing@rbk.gov.uk or call 020 8547 5003.
