Project has concluded

Thanks to your great input on our initial proposals our makeover plans for RAF Chessington Playground, Sir Francis Barker Recreation Ground Playground and Athelstan Recreation Ground Playground are now finalised.

To view the feedback and the final designs please visit the tabs on the right.

As part of our ongoing work to improve and enhance our green spaces, we're investing £1.3million in our borough's parks. So far, through our Community Parks programme we have delivered a range of improvement works including footpath resurfacing, playground makeovers and the installation of outdoor gyms in eight green spaces across the borough.

We are now transforming three more playgrounds within the borough: RAF Chessington Playground and Sir Francis Barker Recreation Ground in Chessington and Athelstan Recreation Ground in Kingston Town and we want to know your views on our draft plans. You can read about the plans under the 'Read about the plans' tab on this page.

Please complete the relevant survey and also share your thoughts via our ideas forum below.

Don't forget to check out our illustrative plans for each park in our photo gallery.

You can also find out more about our proposals and ask any questions you may have at one of our virtual drop-in sessions. Our programme manager will be briefly running through the plans at 4, 4.30, 5 and 5.30pm, but you are welcome to join at any time.
