‘Green spaces’ in Kingston include parks, sports pitches, roadside verges, nature conservation sites and smaller grass areas in your streets and neighbourhood.

We have a schedule of maintenance that dictates how frequently we maintain different features, for example, how often we cut the grass, litter pick or cut back shrubs.

In Kingston we want attractive and accessible green spaces that benefit the environment, as well as the health and well being of Kingston’s residents and visitors.

Kingston Council’s current contract arrangements for the management of green spaces and trees ends in 2021. This is an excellent opportunity for us to take stock and think about future needs; what works, what doesn’t and what we might change going forward.

Take our survey, tell us your stories and give us your ideas!
